Actionable Data and Automatic Optimization

The Giraffic Management Module comprises a powerful set of administration tools and reports enabling customers to get real-time visibility of network performance, end-user experience, and efficiency of the Giraffic network.
Giraffic’s unique presence in the user’s browser enables it to collect and accumulate information which measures real user experiences – such as TTFB (Time to First Byte, i.e. the amount of time it takes from the moment a user clicks "Play" until the content actually starts to playback),whether content was interrupted/paused during streaming or download, and similar information.
This information is used to automatically optimize Giraffic’s network, and improve the user experience on the fly, adapt to congestion problems in the network, and reduce the amount of overhead the content provider needs to deliver content to users.

Real-time and aggregated data is displayed in Giraffic’s Control Panel. It is used to measure performance and the end-user experience, and to administer the network.

Additional analytics can report efficiency and bandwidth offload of the network, and the subsequent cost savings.

Offloading over 80% of customer's bandwidth and absorbing peak-hour traffic:

The following chart demonstrates a real live customer's data from Giraffic's network during a typical week of operations - demonstrating Giraffic's ability not only to offload over 80% of the total customer data (!), but also how Giraffic's network absorbs the majority of peak traffic and leaves the operator's network and CDN "Flat".
